Harpist Grace Wepner Ludtke and Leigh Stringfellow join forces as a harp duo. Interviewed by the Wacqueline Stern Show, on Carrboro's Community Radio Station WCOM 103.5, the NC Harp Duo performs "Greensleeves" arrange by Cindy Hortsman, "Two Guitars" by Linda Wood & Jack Jarrett and the beginning of "A Song in the Night" by Carlos Salzedo.

‘Leigh & Grace’ is a North Carolina based harp duo, combining the talents of professional harpists, Leigh Stringfellow and Grace Wepner Ludtke. Their duo gracefully showcases the dynamic range and versatility of the concert grand pedal harp, sharing music specially composed and arranged for two harps. Both Leigh and Grace began harp lessons at the age of 10, Leigh in Seattle, Washington and Grace in Hickory, North Carolina. When Leigh moved in North Carolina, she and Grace became friends while performing together in the North Carolina Harp Ensemble.

Leigh and Grace are both professional harpists, performing solo, chamber and orchestra music throughout the Southeast. Both Grace and Leigh live in one of the twenty-two ‘boros’ in North Carolina. Grace, a Greensboro resident, earned a degree in music and harp performance from Converse College. Leigh, from Carrboro, earned a degree in music and harp performance from Vassar College and is currently completing a Master of Music degree in harp performance from Appalachian State University.

‘Leigh & Grace’ perform a variety of classical, popular, and modern compositions, and have enjoyed performing on the Bach’s Lunch ‘n’ Listen concert series at the Newton-Conover Auditorium, the Thursday Night music series at Old Salem Museums and Gardens, and The Wacquline Stern Show on Carrboro’s WCOM FM station. The harp duo has also performed and recorded music by composer, Jack Jarrett that will be featured on their debut CD ‘Gracefully’.
